Scripture
Hebrews 11
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
By faith Noah hammered nails, He knew Gods' mercy would prevail
He saw the rainbow shinning, his story then unwinding
He saw what others could not see
By faith he looked to Calvary
By faith Moses looked ahead, He heard Gods' word and then he led
Each step he took he hoped for, the path across the sea shore
He led his people to be free,
By faith he looked to Calvary
By faith he stepped out alone, and then young David threw the stone
He counted on Gods' power, to save him at that hour
His faith was there for all to see
By faith he looked to Calvary
By faith the universe was made,
Through faith we hear Gods' word today
Our faith is being sure of Gods' mercy bent with pure love
We trust in what we cannot see
By faith we look to Calvary
