Scripture
Isaiah 49
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
My words are chosen for you, this is what the Lord says
This day of salvation we are restored
O Holy One Redeemer, lead me and I will follow
I will look to you forever to be my Lord
Shout for joy oh heaven, rejoice here on earth
Sing out for joy before His throne
He keeps His promises, the Mighty One of Jacob lives
The God of Israel, calls us His own
He lifts up His people to be a light to others
We're called to be His children, to honor Him
I will be a servant, showing love that He has shown me
Our God has come to save us, from all our sins
Shout for joy oh heaven, rejoice here on earth
Sing out for joy before His throne
He keeps His promises, the Mighty One of Jacob lives
The God of Israel, calls us His own
